Large Lathe Specialist Facilities
Stark Bros provides in-house machining of large items with its specialist lathe facilities. The Craven lathe is specifically designed to accommodate long and heavy items up to a massive 1.5 metres in diameter by 8 metres in length over the bed. The capacity of the lathe is second-to-none in the local area. Its diversity and size extends the possibilities and opportunities for machining items within Lyttelton.
If you have a tailshaft or a large item to be machined, you no longer have to settle for the smaller lathe approach that can just do it or should be all right. The Craven lathe can do it — no question.
